    Johnathan takes pride in AYSO’s mission and its impact as the largest soccer club in the world. He loves that AYSO introduces more kids to the beautiful game of soccer than any other organization, fostering a love for the sport in an inclusive and supportive environment.

    Manages coach administration, training, and selection

    Larry values the inclusivity of youth sports, where every child has the opportunity to participate regardless of talent, potential, or financial means. He believes recreational programs like AYSO provide a vital space for kids to enjoy the game, experience success at their own pace, and avoid the pressures that come with the privatization of youth sports.

    Oversees referee administration, training, and selection

    Volunteering with AYSO since 2003

    Patrick has a lifelong passion for soccer, from playing to refereeing and now mentoring others in the game. He finds fulfillment in guiding and supporting new referees as they grow in their skills and understanding of the sport.

  • Stephen Neff

    Regional Registrar

    Volunteering with AYSO since 2023

    Stephen values being part of a community that prioritizes kids over profit. He believes youth coaching should be about giving back rather than making money. His background includes playing for a nationally ranked high school soccer team and coaching at Sandia High School for three years. He has also coached youth girls’ soccer for U12–U17 teams with Alameda and Rio.

    Volunteering with AYSO since 2018

    Brittany loves that AYSO soccer is a team sport that encourages players to build friendships and work together. She is a Regional Referee and has completed AYSO EPIC training.

    Fun Fact: She loves Scooby-Doo and enjoys reading.

    AYSO Treasurer & Coach

    Volunteering with AYSO since 2018

    Josh enjoys teaching soccer because it allows him to witness the growth and development of young athletes throughout the year. He believes sports are about more than just winning—they teach goal-setting, teamwork, and leadership. One of his proudest moments was watching his teams prioritize their teammates’ success over personal wins, showing true sportsmanship and camaraderie. Seeing kids grow into stronger leaders, athletes, and friends fills him with pride.

    Megan enjoys watching kids learn about themselves and each other through the game of soccer. She is passionate about creating an encouraging environment that challenges players while rewarding great effort over great outcomes.

    Volunteering with AYSO since 2021

    Bette loves working with the kids and sharing the joy of being part of a team. She values the connections made with fellow volunteers and families and finds coaching soccer to be incredibly rewarding. Being a part of AYSO brings her a deep sense of gratitude.

    Fun Fact: She enjoys lifting weights and practicing hot yoga.

    Robert enjoys spending time with his son and discovering new ways to teach and support young athletes. He is involved with AYSO Core and currently serves in the 06U Coed division for Region 104, Area 12C.
